Only a few hours into our return trip from SCALE 14x we heard the warning to get off the road, and take shelter. Troubles with tornadoes, drones with friends, and the the long haul home.

We finally made it to North Dakota! After blasting through Eastern Montana yesterday (10 hours of driving) and another 4 hours of driving across North Dakota today, we have finally reached Noah’s! Great burger and beer ensued, and a soak in the hot tub.

Now off to prep a few much needed shows that we will be recording this weekend from Noah’s!

Our first full day in Montana was filled to the brim. Breakfast at Cracker Barrel in Missoula, boon docking for the day in Butte where Antrit found us via the Rover Tracker and joined in as we came up with some creative solutions to limited power and iffy connections.

Hadea takes a minute to introduce herself to the community while roaming around Butte, and then we are off to Bozeman, where we score a beautiful RV spot at a KOA camp and get free passes to the Bozeman Hot Springs.

Today started with a big challenge, perform the finally assembly of the mobile recording setup, in the Rover. The RV Park we stayed in overnight was selected for its good LTE coverage, power, water, and other nice things.

Microsoft had other plans for our mobile production today, I share those challenges and a bit of our trip into Montana, where we end up boondocking in a parking lot for the evening.

After breaking the camper in boondocking over a long labor day weekend, I take you on a tour of my current living arrangement as I learn the basics on how to operate my new mobile studio.

After being hooked up to water for a few days, I noticed it was putting quite a bit of strain on my fresh water hookup. After some research, this appears to be a common problem. I’ll show you my challenge, and mention my idea to fix it… If I can find the part in time.
