GNOME 3.0 Delayed To March 2011
Yesterday it was announced that GNOME 3.0 is delayed till next year. The extra time has given the Shell Developers some more time to play around with new concepts and they have come up a new mockup. Here are the new mockups.

Is Canonical A Free Rider in the Linux Community?
Red Hat made the most contributions of any single organization with almost 17% of the code commits. Volunteers and unknowns committed 40% of the code and other leading organizations included Novell (10%), and Collabora (5%). Canonical, on the other hand, contributed only 1% of the code commits.

$162 million, compared to $26 million just a year ago. Of the 8.3 million phones, 2.7 of them were smartphones. That’s the highest concentration of smartphones in Motorola’s decades-long history in the market.
